GI-NI Webinar · What does the EU labour market hide? · 20/06/2024 · Online
June 20 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Despite the apparent downward trend in occupational segregation by origin and gender in the EU, cross-country analysis shows the existence of different inequality patterns with a geographical component. Heterogeneity emerges as a key feature within the EU, since the behaviour of EU-born movers and third-country nationals differs according to the host country. Understanding this reality can help policymakers not only in the establishment of a common migration framework, but also in the development of tailor-made integration policies.
Join us for an insightful webinar as part of the GI-NI series, funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 program. This session will delve into the hidden aspects of the EU labour market, focusing on the inequality patterns arising from migration.
