New video: Interdisciplinary Research Framework

GI-NI has produced a new video, which provides an explanation of the concepts to analyse inequalities within and between countries and how these inequalities are influenced simultaneously by three ‘shocks’; technological change, migration and globalisation.Ronald Dekker (TNO; The Netherlands) and Hans Christian Garmann Johnsen (University of Agder; Norway) set the conceptual background for studying the interaction and the joint impact of these shocks.

The video is related to work package 1 Setting the scene: framework, approaches, methodology, which takes into account the evolution of the processes through which technological change, globalisation and migration are integrated in economic, institutional, political and socio-cultural contexts, including the needs and obstacles. This work package refers to the interdisciplinary integration of concepts and methods (political sciences, economics, sociology).
